Hey, I’m Caitlin, the founder of The Adaptive K9.

My entire purpose is to help people build better relationships with their dogs through simple, clear communication, accessible training that adapts to your needs, and support that actually fits real life.

When I first started training dogs and their humans, I quickly realized how much I love helping dogs and their people truly understand each other, improve their relationships and succeed in their goals.

Simply put— to me, training isn’t just about obedience… it’s about connection and without connection, we don’t have understanding — and without understanding, our training won’t stick.

My goal is to make training accessible in every way: financially, emotionally, and within in the methods I use. I want you to feel confident, supported, and capable — not overwhelmed or shut down.

I focus on giving both you and your dog the tools to succeed long term, not just in sessions, but in everyday life.

I’m always learning, growing, and refining my approach so I can show up better for every client I work with.

I genuinely welcome questions… especially the ones that challenge me. If I don’t know something, I love to dig deeper and take the time to find you the answers you need!
